周慧敏平时会在跑步机快走当运动，老公倪震喜欢跟朋友远足与打网球，她说：“大家勿忘记身体的关节会随年龄和运动量有所耗损，所以关节的保养很重要！”周慧敏母亲生前也受关节问题困扰，由最初间歇性疼痛到后来日常生活受影响，所以她常提醒朋友注重关节健康。
周慧敏是许多人的梦中情人，出道多年即便曾淡出一段时间，复出后一样魅力不减，还在2014年参演九把刀电影《等一个人咖啡》，人气翻红再攀事业高峰。
周慧敏为了庆祝元宵节，特地在网上上传了一张约20年前拍摄的古装照，当时她身穿红底搭配黄色花纹的古装，手里还拿了把油纸伞，长发飘逸、朱唇微张露出浅浅微笑，宛如仙女般的模样立刻吸引了大批网友目光。
不过，周慧敏这张照片曝光没多久就让许多网友吓了一跳，因为48岁的她20年前后的模样竟几乎无差别，脸上几乎看不出一丝老化的痕迹，让网友惊呼连连，直说“这照片太离奇了啦！"
据影迷推测，她这张照片应该是1993年与郭富城、张卫健一起主演电影《流氓状元》所拍的剧照，拍摄时间距今大约23年。
1985年周慧敏参加新秀歌唱大赛，进入娱乐圈1986年她参加业余DJ大赛获得亚军，随即加入香港电台工作，正式投入演艺事业。1987年加入香港电台第二台当DJ主持年青人节目“青春交响曲”，成为最受欢迎的电台节目之一。
